There was a little girl,
And she had a little curl,
Right in the middle
Of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very, very good,
But when she was bad,
She was horrid
Brush, brush, brush your teeth.
Keep them clean each day.
Then you’ll have a pretty smile,
And healthy teeth all day.

My mother said that I never should
Play with the gypsies in the wood.
The wood was dark, the grass was green;
By came Sally with a tambourine.
I went to sea—no ship to get across;
I paid ten shillings for a blind white horse.
I upped on his back and was off in a crack,

There’s a neat little clock—
In the schoolroom it stands—
