Three Little Witches

(Tune: “10 Little Indians” also “Bumpin Up and Down in My Little Red Wagon“)

One little, two little, three little witches
Flying over haystacks, flying over ditches
Flying round the moon without any hitches
Hey! Ho! Halloween’s here!

Five Little Ghosts

Five little ghosts flying out the door,
One flew away and then there were four.

Four little ghosts playing happily,
One flew away and then there were three.

Three little ghosts yelling boo! boo! boo!,
One flew away and then there were two.

Two little ghosts having spooky fun,
One flew away and then there was one.

One little ghost caught sight of the sun,
Flew back home and that left none.

Five Little Bats

Five little bats came flying in the door,
one flew away and that left four!

Four little bats hiding in a tree,
One flew away and that left three!

Three little bats looking down at you,
One flew away and that left two!

Two little bats looking down at you,
One flew away and that left one!

One little bat hanging all alone,
He flew away and then there were none!

Pumpkin, Pumpkin

Pumpkin, Pumpkin is an interactive chant for you and your little one. Hold your baby or toddler on your lap and gently bounce as you chant the words. Sitting on a wall: perch child right on your knee. Tip and fall: rock child side to side, dipping as far as is comfortable. Rolling down the street: Holding child’s hands, roll them like you would in Pat-a-Cake. You’re so sweet: bring child in for kisses or tickles.

Pumpkin, Pumpkin

Pumpkin, Pumpkin sitting on a wall
Pumpkin, Pumpkin tip and fall
Pumpkin, Pumpkin rolling down the street
Pumpkin, Pumpkin you’re so sweet!

I’m a Little Pumpkin

(Tune: “I’m a Little Teapot“)

I’m a little pumpkin short and round.
I grow on the vine and on the ground.
I start as a seed and grow and grow.
Soon I’ll be carved and then I’ll glow!

Halloween Sounds
(Tune: “Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush”)

This is the way the witches fly: Swish! Swish! Swish!

This is the way the ghosts go by, ghosts go by, ghosts go by
This is the way the ghosts go by: Boo! Boo! Boo!

This is the way the black cats howl, black cats howl, black cats howl
This is the way the black cats howl: Meow! Meow! Meow!

Five Little Witches

Five little witches sitting on a gate.
The first one said, “I’m glad it’s getting late.”
The second one said, “There are spiders in my hair!”
The third one said, “Well, I declare!”
The fourth one said, “Trick or treating would be fun!”
The fifth one said, “Let’s run and run and run!”

So, Wooo oooo went the wind.
And out went the light!
And the five the little witches flew out of sight!
