A Little Apple Seed

(Tune: “Eensy Weensy Spider”)

Once a little apple seed was planted in the ground.
Down came the soft rain, falling all around.
Out came the sun as bright as bright could be
And that little apple seed grew to be an apple tree!!

5 Red Apples

February 26, 2020 by ajpassey Leave a Comment

5 Red Apples

Five red apples hanging in a tree
The juiciest apples you ever did see.
The wind came by and gave an angry frown
And one little apple came tumbling down.

Four red apples, hanging in a tree,
The juiciest apples you ever did see.
The wind came by and gave an angry frown
And one little apple came tumbling down.

Three red apples, hanging in a tree,
The juiciest apples you ever did see.
The wind came by and gave an angry frown
And one little apple came tumbling down.

Two red apples, hanging in a tree,
The juiciest apples you ever did see.
The wind came by and gave an angry frown
And one little apple came tumbling down.

One red apple, hanging in a tree,
The juiciest apple you ever did see.
The wind came by and gave an angry frown
And one little apple came tumbling down.
No red apples hanging in a tree.

Apple Tree with actions

February 26, 2020 by ajpassey Leave a Comment

Apple Tree

Here is the tree with leaves so green,
Here are the apples that hang in between,
When the wind blows, the apples will fall,
And here is a basket to gather them all.

Actions for Apple Tree

Here is the tree with leaves so green,
(Stand with arms stretched out like branches)

Here are the apples that hang in between,
(Make hands into fists to be apples)

When the wind blows, the apples will fall,
(Sway back and forth and shake fists)

And here is a basket to gather them all.
(Form a circle with arms out in front)

Autumn Leaves Are Falling Down

(Tune: “London Bridge Is Falling Down“)

Autumn leaves are falling down,
Falling down,
Falling down.
Autumn leaves are falling down
All over town.

The cold wind blows them all around
All around
All around.
The cold wind blows them all around
All over town.

They’re drifting gently to the ground
To the ground
To the ground.
They’re drifting gently to the ground
All over town.

Take a rake and rake them up
Rake them up
Rake them up.
Take a rake and rake them up
All over town.

Rain, Rain, Go Away

November 9, 2009 by ajpassey Leave a Comment

Rain

Rain, rain go away
Little Sammi wants to play
Rain, rain go away
Come again some other day

Switch out Sammi for your child’s name. Little ones love hearing their name in a song or rhyme. They feel very special. They are also more attentive because it connects to them personally.
